En Cumbres hemos vivido una jornada muy especial con la celebración de Holywins, una oportunidad para acercarnos a la vida de hombres y mujeres que, con su ejemplo, siguen iluminando nuestro camino.
Nuestros alumnos han conocido y representado a santos de distintas épocas que destacan por su valentía, entrega y fidelidad a sus ideales. Entre los más populares se encontraban San Ignacio de Loyola, San Jorge, Santa Cecilia y Santiago Apóstol, junto a testimonios más cercanos y actuales como el del joven Carlo Acutis, cuya vida demuestra que la santidad también es posible en nuestro tiempo.
A través de actividades, disfraces y momentos de reflexión, hemos descubierto que los santos no son personajes lejanos, sino referentes que nos inspiran a vivir con alegría, generosidad y propósito. Personas que, desde realidades muy distintas, supieron dejar huella haciendo el bien y poniendo sus dones al servicio de los demás.
Porque educar es también ofrecer ejemplos que ayuden a nuestros alumnos a mirar alto, crecer en virtud y descubrir que todos estamos llamados a dar lo mejor de nosotros mismos.

At Cumbres, we’ve enjoyed a very special day with the Holywins celebration, an opportunity to learn about the lives of men and women who, through their example, continue to light our way.
Our students have learnt about and portrayed saints from different eras who stand out for their courage, dedication and fidelity to their ideals. Among the most popular were Saint Ignatius of Loyola, Saint George, Saint Cecilia and Saint James the Apostle, alongside more familiar and contemporary examples such as the young Carlo Acutis, whose life demonstrates that holiness is also possible in our own time.
Through activities, costumes and moments of reflection, we have discovered that the saints are not distant figures, but role models who inspire us to live with joy, generosity and purpose. They are people who, coming from very different backgrounds, knew how to leave their mark by doing good and putting their gifts at the service of others.
Because education is also about offering examples that help our pupils to aim high, grow in virtue and discover that we are all called to give the best of ourselves.
