Tres años después de que las llamas arrasaran más de 20.000 hectáreas en el interior de Castellón, el paisaje de Torás comienza a mostrar signos de recuperación. Por segundo año consecutivo, nuestros alumnos de 2º de ESO han participado en una jornada de reforestación dentro del proyecto #UnColegioUnaHectárea, que busca restaurar los ecosistemas dañados y promover la educación ambiental entre los más jóvenes.
Durante la actividad, los estudiantes plantaron especies autóctonas en terrenos de cultivo cercanos, que más adelante serán trasplantadas a zonas seleccionadas por los ingenieros forestales encargados de la recuperación del entorno. Cada árbol plantado representa una pequeña victoria frente a la huella del fuego y una lección viva sobre el compromiso con la naturaleza.
Esta experiencia dejó una fuerte impresión entre los alumnos, que pudieron comprobar de cerca el alcance del incendio y el esfuerzo que requiere devolver la vida al terreno.

Three years after flames ravaged more than 20,000 hectares in the interior of Castellón, the landscape of Torás is beginning to show signs of recovery. For the second consecutive year, our 2nd year ESO students participated in a reforestation day as part of the #UnColegioUnaHectárea project, which seeks to restore damaged ecosystems and promote environmental education among young people.
During the activity, the students planted native species on nearby farmland, which will later be transplanted to areas selected by the forestry engineers in charge of restoring the environment. Each tree planted represents a small victory over the aftermath of the fire and a living lesson in commitment to nature.
This experience left a strong impression on the students, who were able to see first-hand the extent of the fire and the effort required to bring life back to the land.
