Arranca la XIVª Liga de Debate Escolar con la primera jornada en Escolapias.
Ayer se celebró en el Colegio Escolapias la 1ª Jornada de la XIVª Liga de Debate Escolar, en la que participaron nuestras alumnas de 4º de ESO: Sofía Bolea, Camila Castro y Marta Fayos.
La Liga de Debate constituye una magnífica oportunidad para que el alumnado se inicie en el mundo del debate formal y potencie habilidades esenciales como el pensamiento crítico, la argumentación y la oratoria a lo largo del curso escolar. A través de este formato, los estudiantes analizan en profundidad temas de actualidad y aprenden a construir sus propias opiniones, fomentando así su autonomía, libertad de pensamiento y expresión.
En esta primera jornada, la moción propuesta fue: “¿Debería España renunciar a su modelo de turismo masivo?”. Nuestras representantes defendieron sus posturas con solvencia, demostrando un excelente trabajo de preparación y gran capacidad comunicativa.

The 14th School Debate League kicks off with the first day at Escolapias.
Yesterday, the 1st Day of the 14th School Debate League was held at Escolapias School, in which our 4th year ESO students Sofía Bolea, Camila Castro and Marta Fayos participated.
The Debate League is a wonderful opportunity for students to get started in the world of formal debate and develop essential skills such as critical thinking, argumentation and public speaking throughout the school year. Through this format, students analyse current issues in depth and learn to form their own opinions, thus promoting their autonomy, freedom of thought and expression.
On this first day, the proposed motion was: ‘Should Spain renounce its model of mass tourism?’ Our representatives defended their positions with confidence, demonstrating excellent preparation and great communication skills.
Congratulations to all three for your dedication and for your great performance at the start of the League!
