At Cumbres we see sport not only as a way to improve physical fitness, but as a tool for our pupils’ all-round personal development. Sport acts as a catalyst for physical, emotional and psychological growth, helping pupils to understand themselves better, manage their emotions, build their self-esteem and develop essential social skills.
Through sport, pupils build habits and virtues that last a lifetime: teamwork, healthy competition, diligence, willpower, perseverance, courage, friendship, camaraderie, respect and the drive to improve.
Therefore, we offer a wide range of activities in our Sports Club for students at all stages (Preschool, Primary, Secondary, and Sixth Form), which contribute to stimulating our students’ artistic, musical, and athletic abilities.
The activities on offer include:
Be Active, Be True
This is the programme we use to develop virtues through sport, drawing out the human side of our pupils. Each card sets out the definition of the virtue, together with a prayer, a reading, an image, a challenge, a group activity, a first-hand account, a survey and a video.

Our dining hall has its own on-site kitchen, where the daily menu is prepared. We attach great importance to the fresh produce that arrives each day and to healthy, balanced eating, so our monthly menu is reviewed by nutrition experts.
We also encourage good habits and good manners at the table through “La Mesa Restaurante” (the restaurant table): each month, the pupils who make the greatest effort are rewarded with a place at this special table.
The Regional Ministry of Health of the Valencian Community also supervises the menus served in our dining hall. We serve home-cooked food prepared daily in our own kitchens with fresh ingredients, with menus designed by professional nutritionists. We also provide specific menus for pupils with allergies or any other condition certified by their doctor. Our quality management system is certified by AENOR.
